In 2026, the Giacometti Museum & School will open in Paris in the renovated building of the former Gare des Invalides. The museum will house the Alberto and Annette Giacometti Foundation's exceptional collection of almost 10,000 works, in an innovative project combining permanent exhibitions, exhibitions dedicated to modern and contemporary art and a creative school open to all. The Musée Giacometti is part of the "Réinventer Paris 2 : Esplanade des Invalides" program.

The complete renovation of the building is being undertaken by Emerige and Nexity, with architect Dominique Perrault, heritage architect Pierre-Antoine Gatier and landscape architect Louis Benech.

The Studio assured the museography consultancy for all the museum spaces and is in charge of the design of the large Giacometti Gallery. The 1,000 m² permanent exhibition space, punctuated by large bay windows that are like lanterns over the city of Paris, provides an ideal setting for exhibiting and displaying the artist's rich and vast collection in the heart of Paris.
