The PHOTO ELYSEE has entrusted Studio Adrien Gardère with the design and artistic direction of all its exhibition and mediation spaces as part of the Museum's move to its new building designed by the architects Aires Matteus in the heart of the PLATEFORME 10 arts district.
The COLLECTIONS space, "60 species of photographic spaces", responds to PHOTO ELYSEE's desire to reinterpret one of the classic museographic formats, namely the presentation of collections, in a dynamic, stimulating and contemporary way.
The exhibition system designed by Studio Adrien Gardère, composed of a set of mobile, modular and reconfigurable trolleys, constitutes a real exhibition and hanging tool for the collections. It allows the immense thematic diversity of the collections to be mapped.
The STUDIO space, designed with the multimedia agency on-situ, engages the public in the participatory discovery of photographic practice through a series of immersive, interactive and playful experiences. Staging, rayograms, studio photography and editing are part of this new experience of the creation of a photograph by the public.
The Adrien Gardère studio also designed the first temporary exhibition of PHOTO ELYSEE: Train Zug Treno Tren, Destins croisés.
