For the first European retrospective of the Australian Aboriginal artist Mirdidingkingathi Juwarnda Sally Gabori, the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain called on Studio Adrien Gardère to design the scenography.
Through a chromatic and geographical distribution of some thirty monumental canvases, the tour offers a variety of rhythms and experiences to allow full contemplation. The Studio has endeavoured to exploit the architectural potential of the Fondation Cartier building to resonate with the emotional and symbolic significance of Sally Gabori's work, which is a dialogue between interior and exterior.
Through a digital project published by the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain on the occasion of this exhibition, discover the history, the work of Sally Gabori and the scenography deployed by the Studio Adrien Gardère: sallygabori-fondationcartier.com
